Making the posts horizontal rather than vertical

at the moment the posts are in a vertical line but i want them in a horizontal line.
how do i change this?

You can achieve that via extra CSS code. The widget provides ID and class names to design it with CSS.
If you are not familiar with CSS you can take a look at the plugin Ultimative Post List Pro and the examples for the “responsive grid” design. If you set a low number of list items and a sufficient width you can get the look-n-feel of a vertical list.
