Hello Everyone, I hope I get the solution of this query.
I have a website which got malware, GOD knows from where. I am using free version of Wordfence on my website and remove this malware from effected files several times on the indication of free Wordfence plugin scan results. But the malware/virus is keep on coming to my site and effecting the files again and again.

Can someone let me know how can I find out the main source from where this malware is coming(themes, plugins..etc) on my website? I have lot’s of plugins installed on my website. It is not possible for me to keep on deactivation them one by one and activation them again one by one to check the whole website with time to time(I don’t know the exact time when the malware effect the site).

I want to get rid of this malware from my website completely. So I will be very thankful to anyone who can help me with this headache.
    Thanks

    Hi @19fani93

If a reinfection keeps occurring then this very likely means that you haven’t patched the intrusion vector and the same hacker, or even a different hacker, is exploiting the same vulnerability.

Please follow our site cleaning guide below:

Hi @wfphil I have read the entire article and understand it but I am not so good in security and removing malware from entire site’s files.

I don’t figure out the source of the malware on my site, if I can get it I will surly remove that source.

Can you let me know if I purchase a paid Wordfence plugin than will you gays examine my site and remove the virus completely and make sure that it won’t come again?

    Thanks

Yes, I suffered a hack too, and to my mind it happened as WP 5.8 was updated…. literally within a very short period… Any connection??
