    Hello,

I host a website via SiteGrounds for a client who uses the EventOn plugin. I recently received an alert from SiteGrounds indicating that a file found in the plugin’s folder was possibly corrupted with malware. I’ve since ran the file through several virus detectors, and it passed with flying colors.

Has anyone else had this issue? I believe the file was reported for malware incorrectly simply because it has a suspicious file structure. The specific file is the add_to_calendar.js file, which can be found at this file path: public_html > wp-content > plugins > eventON > assets > js.

That is not a file that is part of eventON. Please re-download eventON and you will see that is not a part of the eventON content. Your website might have been infected with some program that added that file in there.

I would highly recommend scanning your site for malware and getting rid of those. You have to get to the root of the issue otherwise that program/code will re-generate these malware files everytime you delete the file.
