Malware Protection?

    Is there a way to filter malware in a file-upload form?

    I only found options for file size and file type.
    Also it would be nice to have a MIME type filter, instead of the file extension. I just can rename an exe-file to pdf and it’s possible to upload.

    I was wondering the same thing this AM after receiving an email from our hosting provider that now offers “malware protection”. We use WordFence that scans files but that may be a bit late if someone uploads something really nasty via one of our Contact Forms. Curious what others are doing to proactively avoid any problems.
