• When I use Mammoth to upload a Word docx file to WordPress, it sometimes comes in with an “id” element like this: The IDs are generally different. It usually does this at the start of a sentence.

Any idea why this happens? More important, any idea how to stop it?

That’s probably because you have bookmarks in your original document. If you get rid of the bookmarks, the corresponding anchors should disappear.

Brilliant! RemoveAllBookmarks is another macro I’ll have to add to the CleanUpFile macro I run before I use Mammoth to pull a Word doc into WordPress.

    Many thanks!
