MAMP for Mac saying “decompression failed”

    Hi I’m a complete noob and I apologize in advance for this post but I did a search for “MAMP decompression failed” and I just can’t find anything on this issue. I am on a Macbook and I downloaded the MAMP file but in my download window it is giving me that error message. This is my first time trying wordpress. Can someone help me please? Thanks for your time!

    Delete the MAMP files and installers and download it again. If it happens again, check in the MAMP forums.
