When users subscribe to my blog they currently get a new email for each individual post. Is it possible for them to only receive one email per day with a summary of all the new posts, lets say in the evening. Right now the emails are overwhelming.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

It’s possible to change this, yes, but your subscribers are in control of this.

If they follow your site via email only, not via a WordPress.com account, ask them to go to https://subscribe.wordpress.com/. They’ll need to enter their email address with which they’re subscribed to your site, and then we’ll send them a unique link they can use to access their subscription settings.

They’ll be able to change their subscription to a daily or weekly digest there, and they’ll even be able to control at what time of day they want to receive that digest, and which day of the week in the case of weekly digests.

If they follow your site via an email address connected to a WordPress.com account, they’ll be able to modify their subscription preferences from within the WordPress.com Reader:
