Managed WordPress GoDaddy

Hello,

I am wondering if you happen to know if I can use the Really SSL Simple with a free certificate (ex: Let’s Encrypt or SSL For Free) as a hack/work around for a managed wordpress on GoDaddy – they only want us to buy one for $lotsamoney/year – but we’re a simple site with minimal information gathering, so it’s not worth that much money.

I appreciate that this is indirectly related to Really SSL Simple and am grateful for any insight you have.
