I checked off that i wanted to do it manually, and when I go to WooCommerce, then orders, I do see the column that say “reveiw reminder” but there is nothing there to click on. How do I sent these manually?

  • Instead of doing it on the individual order page. Do it on the Woocommerce Order Listing Page.

    Heres a screenshot.

I see! Thank you! Never noticed the icon there.

    Ok, 3 questions:

    1) It asks a general question: Rate website, customer service and delivery

How do we see the results for that, and where are they posted for people to see?

    2) Will those ratings for each product, begin to show on the google search results page?

    3) Can I exclude certain products from being rated, or only categories? Lots of products are included within my woocommerce composites and bundles, and I just want them to be able to rate some of these products within them, but not all because some are so insignificant and many are even hidden. Let me know if there is anything else I can do with the exclusions or if it is only categories I can exclude.

Thanks again, gave you guys a 5 star rating today!

    Thanks for trying our plugin!

    1. Unlike product ratings, WooCommerce doesn’t provide any standard place to show shop ratings. So, we don’t really know where to show them in WooCommerce. If you enable trust badges, then it is possible to insert a badge with a summary of your shop ratings anywhere on your website using shortcodes. Currently, this is the only opportunity to showcase your shop rating. We’re thinking about other options to show shop ratings in WooCommerce but unfortunately don’t have good ideas so far. If you have any proposals, please let me know.

    2. Google might display star snippets in search results for your product pages.

    3. If you don’t want certain products from bundles to be rated, please make sure that their price is zero. There is an option to exclude free products from reviews.

I hope this answers your questions.

    1. Thanks for your reply – so I have a reviews page, where I post reviews from google that people have left. This would be a great place to show the shop ratings I presume. I will look into the trust badge thing, although I don’t fully understand. If I have any questions after looking into it, I will let you know.

    2. You say “might” – any idea how to make that a “yes”? Any do’s or don’ts that will help make that happen?

    3. Oh, thats a good idea. Thank you!

Sorry, one more thing. Earlier today I tried to send a review reminder and it told me that I couldn’t because:

“Error: the order does not contain any products for which review reminders are enabled in the settings.”

But I have the setting on for “all categories” so that should never happen right?

Last thing – I tried the badge thing, and it won’t show anything except for a box with a question mark in it. On the settings page, all the badges for me to choose from have this symbol of a question mark so I don’t know what any of them look like. Any idea what is causing this?

Hi there, while I am waiting for your reply I thought I would ask again if there is a way to exclude products. I know you mentioned if they are $0.00 they could be excluded but that won’t work for me. This is how things are put together in my shop:

I have simple products (all hidden and nearly all of them have dollar values)

I have these simple products in bundles (all hidden with no dollar values. As they add simple products, the bundle amount is built)

I have these bundles in composites (all visible with no dollar values. As they add bundles, the composite amount is built)

So because of this set up, all my simple and hidden products are being shown in review email and none of the composites are being shown. The composites are what people see when they search through my site. When people rate them, they are rating the hidden products so my composites which are visible yet have no ratings.

See my dilemma? I have 427 products altogether so its quite a complicated business.

What I really need, is to have more control over which products are shown in the email. I want ONLY bundle names to be shown in the email, and then whatever rating they give it, for it to count towards its composite. Please tell me there is a way to do this, because otherwise this plugin won’t work for me. I have researched for days, and yours is BY FAR the best, so I am hoping you can work with me here and provide a solution 🙂

    Thank you in advance!

Ok, please forgive me!!!!!! I FIGURED IT OUT! All I had to do, was to turn off the ability for them to leave a review (did a bulk edit on product list) and remove the setting about the free part with your plugin, and bingo! Solved all my problems.

So please disregard EVERYTHING I wrote, and consider this solved. Woo hoo!
