Is there any way to manually archive.
So, if i decided to archive my site (www.gravestmor.com) right now,
i could have an archive page that points to just those posts that are up at the moment?
    Thanks
    Marcus

Marcus, what exactly do you mean by manual archiving?
You have a few archive hacks/files that let you display an archive page with all the posts in it, Searching in the wiki or these fora should help find them.

well, I want my page to be archived twice a week.
At the moment the only option i can find is to archive weekly, daily, or every set number of days.
As my site is updated sunday and wednesday with new content, I need some other way to clear my page of posts so that it can strat fresh again.

The archive in wp just decides the granularity of the archives pages that wordpress can generate, for example, if you have the weekly archives chosen, the dropdown_archives(); for example would shox each week as a seperate option, and create a page for each week.
Use a daily archive to acheive your needs, if your site is only updated twice a week, if that helps.

well, i update more than twice a week but i would like the front page to start afresh every sunday and wednesday.
    maybe this is not possible.
it would be nice to have this kind of control though.

If you set your Reading Options to only show posts from the last 3 or 4 days, wouldn’t that almost be the same? Granted it’s not the same as specifying Sun or Wed, but it should keep your front page fresh.
