For those of us who do not have an API key.

Is there a way to manually input the critical CSS for each page?

there’s a legacy version which is manual but it also requires an account at criticalcss.com (albeit without API usage fee).

alterantively you could try https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/per-page-add-to/ to add the critical CSS ?
