Manual update does not work

    Hi, I have a problem with manually updating reviews. When I click the Reconnect button on the widget, nothing happens. New reviews are not added. I don’t want to use the API, I would like to download reviews manually from time to time, but unfortunately it doesn’t work. Do you have any advice for this problem? Thank you.

    Hi @1zooza,

    Thank you for your topic.

    To make the reviews automatically updated, please create your own Google API key. Extremely detailed manual is placed on the page in wp-admin: Google Reviews / Support / Full Installation Guide, after creating you need to save it on the Settings page and reviews should be updated in 24 hours.

    Hi, as I wrote in the first text, I don´t want to do it via API, I want to do it manually, I have problem with manual updating – it does not work. When I click on the button, nothing happens.

    Yes, we understand. Manual update works only if you save your own Google API key in the Settings.

    If updates are automatic with API, why would you have to use button for manual update while API connected? But OK, thanks for clarifying it.

    Thank you for your response.

    Sorry, if it’s not clear. I think we will improve description of this button in the future. This button just allow to update reviews instantly and not wait automatically daily job.
