After updating to the latest version 10.26, the issue occurred. Sites using the older version 10.20 have not experienced the same issue.

After completing the reservation on your test site, I successfully received the “Pending Email.”

yes, we don’t have this kind of issue, try installing this version: https://www.dropbox.com/t/ftJq3BzolZQTHLho
and make a new test, install a plugin like “Email logs” in order to verify if the message have been sent ( it could be only a delivery issue)

After installing the shared plugin file and retesting, the “Pending Email” still did not arrive. Checking the mail logs revealed that in version 10.26, the “Regarding reservations [Automatic email]” was not sent to the reservation maker after the reservation was created. Furthermore, the “New reservation” email was also not sent to the administrator.
This was not a sending error; the emails themselves were not being sent.
Instead, the “Your reservation is complete” email was being sent immediately after the reservation was made.
After reverting to version 10.22, the emails were sent without issue.

I have the same issue here: with version 10.26 all bookings are automatically “confirmed” even though the option “booking manual confirmation” is set.
After downgrade to 10.20 the manual confirmation (pending booking) is working.
