Manually inserting form into post form file

I am using a Buddypress child theme called Status. It cannot incorporate the Activity Plus icons and forms.

How can I manually integrate the plugin?

The Activity Plus shortcodes work on the activity stream and the templates are being used. So it otherwise works perfectly.
