Hi,
We’re aware of the issue where FTP backups are being stored multiple times instead of once, and we’re actively working on a fix. This will be addressed in the next version.
We appreciate your patience and will update once the fix is released. Let us know if you need any further assistance.
Best regards.
Thx. And what about the “non-deleting”-problem, please see: https://gyazo.com/7c6688e7f942d99693a9e837cad87a8c
I can’t delete the new backup settings which I didn’t even made.

Hi,
Thank you for your follow-up. The backup settings you’re referring to are the default jobs (Files Backup and Database Backup) introduced in version 5. These jobs are part of the new system and cannot be deleted.
Also, the old FTP issue has been fixed in the latest version. Did you try running the backup again?
Best regards.
That’s a bite strange. I’m only seeing the default ones in one of my sites… Please see: https://gyazo.com/64b59b928dc3d7d17ec6337a3f22e515
The FTP isse doesn’t exist anymore and I have taken a test-backup successfully.

Hi,
On the other sites where you’re not seeing the default jobs, please ensure that Files Backup and Database Backup are enabled or that you’ve run them at least once.
If you’re open to starting fresh and don’t require the old setup, reinstalling the plugin can help resolve this. Let us know if you need any assistance with this or anything else.
Best regards.
No offense, but in my opinion the new layout and general handling have deteriorated significantly. I don’t want to use the “new” backup function at all, I only tested it once on a homepage. It’s a shame that you can’t even remove these from the overview anymore…
