Hello, I hope someone managed to resolve the issue of map not showing until page is refreshed. I went literally over all the forums and recommendations but the issue persists for months already. Mostly what is mentioned is caching or some other plugin conflict, jquery, map settings.. However none of those seem to help or I’m missing something. I’m using Maps Pro as well and both plugins are updated to latest versions. Map works perfectly after refresh. With cashing and other plugins disabled (Siteground optimizer), themes changed, different browsers, different devices, error persists. When checking for javascript errors in inspect-console there are some errors but they also appear when map is correctly loaded. Perhaps someone would get a better idea what they are about:

    1. “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()” on 4 JS files”
    2. “jquery.min.js:2 jQuery.Deferred exception: google.maps.OverlayView is not a constructor TypeError: google.maps.OverlayView is not a constructor”
    3. “Map initalization: TypeError: google.maps.LatLng is not a constructor”
    4. “Uncaught TypeError: google.maps.OverlayView is not a constructor”

To check the issue, one could visit the map page.

Any help or tip is appreciated.

    Cheers, Marin

    Hi @magmarin,

Thank you for getting in touch, we do appreciate your time.

The JavaScript errors that you have provided appears to be possibly related to one our beta settings within the base plugin thus please may I ask if you may disable the “Enable async loading API parameter” (Maps -> Settings -> Advanced Settings) and confirm if this resolves the issue you are experiencing?

    Hello Matthew,

Thanks for replying. Seems I opened the same topic on plugin website while you were writing the reply (sorry, I’ll erase it).

It found that option in Settings->General Settings and it appears it worked !! I hope it remains so because I thought many times it was resolved but it came back because of cache. Thanks so much the fast and to the point assistance. I’ve been dragging with it for months.

    Greetings to you and team,

    Marin

Thank you for getting in touch with us, we do appreciate your time.

We are happy to help thus please could I kindly ask you to confirm if you are receiving any errors within the JavaScript console while viewing your map?

To view the JavaScript console, please see the steps below:

    1. View your map.
    2. Right-click on the page and click on ‘Inspect’ – This will open the Developer Tools window for your browser.
    3. Locate the “Console” tab and click on it.
    4. You should see the console area open with warnings listed in yellow and errors listed in red.
    5. If possible, could I kindly ask you to please share a screenshot of any errors that are being displayed?

Once I can confirm what may be causing the issues based on the JavaScript logs, I will be able to assist you or point you to our support desk for further assistance.

I look forward to hearing back from you.
