Everything works fine until I search for a Location. Then the map turns blank.

Error:

csl-map-functions.js:263 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘geometry’)
at Object.success (csl-map-functions.js:263:63)
at c (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:25304)
at Object.fireWith as resolveWith
at l (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:77782)
at XMLHttpRequest. (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:80265)

I did every update possible and checked the Maps API (Javascript, Geocoding, Places). I also checked the lat longs of the locations and they are correct.

In the API Dashboard it says “Geocoding API “Requests: 12” “Error (%) 100”.

Hello @manu98

We tested search form on store page of your website and it shows following error on browser console:

“error_message”: “API keys with referer restrictions cannot be used with this API.”,
“results”: [],
“status”: “REQUEST_DENIED”
}

So, you need to implement following steps as per https://developers.google.com/maps/faq#browser-keys-blocked-error article:

You are using any of the web service APIs with an API key restricted to an HTTP referer. For security reasons, web service APIs need to use API keys restricted to IP addresses. Switch your key restriction type from an HTTP referer restriction to an IP address restriction, or create a new API key if your key is already used with the Maps JavaScript API.

This will fix error and blank map issue occur when you perform search.
