Being new to GeoDirectories (testing the free version, about ready to buy) I must say that it is kind of complicated to get the details behind the Map Bubble:

    1. I read that changing map-popup.php is the way to go. (https://wpgeodirectory.com/documentation/article/how-tos/customizing-templates/)
    2. Then I found some ccs on GeoDirectories website to modify the Map Bubble. (https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/)
    3. Finally I encountered the option to change the GeoDirectory Settings in the WordPress backend (Add listing form) which has effects on the Map Bubble.

I wished that this would be way more intuitive!

    I have two questions:

    1. Is there no clear path to modify the Map Bubble?
    2. After buying the Pro version will I get support on how to make changes to the Map Bubble using CSS?

    Cheers, Frank

    Hi Frank,

    Sorry for the late reply.
    1. In the Places > Settings > Custom Fields, each fiels has a “output location” you can select the map bubble, this adds any custom field there. The main template is currently fixed and would need to be replaced via a tamplate file in your theme. (just FYI in the next version GDv3 we have moved this to a editable template like all other templates, so it will be fully customizable from the editor, this wont be released for at least a few months yet though).

    2. Yes, you would be able to get help with that from the team.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
