Have you changed your theme in the meantime? It sounds like the custom templates needed by the OSM plugin are not being loaded.
Please deactivate the plugin from the Plugins page. Refresh the page and reactivate the plugin.
Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
Yes I have tested one or two theme but I deactivate the plugin after that and refresh the page and reactivate but I still have the problem…
I’m in localhost for the moment with Ubuntu on my PC.
Any other recommendations ?
Thank you
It’s strange that you do not even get the “Search Address” button.
Iβm in localhost for the moment with Ubuntu on my PC.
You are running MAMP to test WordPress, right?
Yes It’s strange because I know the plugin works usually but not with my PC or my WordPress or an other reason.
I’m running LAMP with Ubuntu 18.04
I said “very much bye bye!” to Windows yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaars ago π
It works like a charm on Mac OSX with MAMP, s I would imagine that (even) on Windows it should work as well.
Also, I have not heard this issue before…
It could be that the theme templates are not placed correctly, if you have a custom setup.
Please check your theme folder the files wp-content/your-theme/plugins/events-manager/forms/event/location.php and wp-content/your-theme/plugins/events-manager/forms/location/where.php
They should both point to Stonehenge_EM_OSM::
Hello,
With your answer it works now !
I think it was not working because I created a child theme and after downloaded the plugin.
So, what I did :
– I deleted the plugin and changed my theme for the parent theme (sydney)
– I downloaded the plugin again and activated it
– I changed my theme for the child theme I had already created.
And now everything is fine. I have the search button and the map display correctly.
Thanks for the support !
Glad you/we got it to work. π
Just wondering… How are you currently using it? Are the OSM templates in the main theme or the child theme sub dirs?
It should actually go to the child theme… But only if you have a child stylesheet as well. Just wondering, so I can see if I can solve it for future use π
The files wp-content/themes/sydney-child/plugins/events-manager/forms/event/location.php and wp-content/themes/sydney-child/plugins/events-manager/forms/location/where.php both pointed to Stonehenge_EM_OSM:: (in my child theme) but were not working !
So now I have the same files in my parent theme and it works !
Hope my explanations make sense for you π
Hi,
I do have the same problem (βSearch Addressβ button) – therefore no locations π
https://paste.pics/6bc3738347af9af6de618978837b868a
What makes me wonder is, that I do have a different folder structur.
My WP has
– /wp-content/plugins/events-manager
and
– /wp-content/themes/my-theme/
so no plugins in theme folder???
WP Ver.: 5.2.4βde_DE
EM Ver.: 5.9.6
EM OSM Ver.: 2.9.7
Any ideas?
Thank you
Claus.
