    Hello WP Go Maps team,

    The backend map editor is not updating properly. If I add a new marker it doesn’t show up in the marker list. But it saves correctly. The frontend map is showing the new marker.

    I tried reloading, reloading without cache, private/incognito windows, logout/login, Firefox/Chrome, Atlas Novus/Legaby builds, Open Street Maps/Google Maps. It’s always the same behaviour.

    After a while the new markers show up, but I don’t know under which conditions.

    There are no errors in the console.

    Do you know this issue?

    Thank you for getting in touch, we do appreciate your time. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your marker lists.

    What you’ve described does point to a caching issue, however, this might not be a caching plugin as those usually do not effect the admin area within WordPress. Instead, I believe it might be due to a caching layer from your host or perhaps a service like Cloudflare.

    One of the reasons I believe that might be the case is because you mentioned that after some time the list does update, which seems to align with some form of cached data being served instead of the realtime data.

    Can I ask you to head over to Maps > Settings > Advanced Settings (Or Misc. in Atlas Novus) and enable the option labelled “Disable Compressed Path Variables

    In some cases, disabling the use of compressed paths will allow the plugin to overcome that level of caching, as compressed paths is particularly focused at making our background data endpoints easier to cache.

    The settings seems to have helped. Thank you. 🙂

    Our Server is using Redis Object Cache & Litespeed Cache. I guess they also influence the admin area.
