Map not loading

    Hi,
    I have just installed the plugin on a clients website and I am having problems with the location map. It shows fine on the back end but on the front end it just says ‘loading’ and doesn’t do anything. I have read other comments on this but it is above and beyond me so can you please explain in English why this might be? The site was developed by someone else as a custom theme so i don’t want to start messing too much with that.

    Hi,

    In my opinion, your theme is using a very old jquery library.

    If you use your browser javascript console, you will see this error

    Uncaught TypeError: Object #<Object> has no method ‘undelegate’

    If you google a bit, you’ll find that it is related to jquery library level.

    Your theme is using jquery 1.4.1 while current WordPress 3.5.1 is using 1.8.3

    I think there is a lot to say about themes not using the default jquery lib

    Great thank you – I did wonder about that. I will pass that message back and get her to speak to the developer who designed it before i do any more.
