Map_Meta_Cap post type not registered error
-
Hi,
I am trying to use the WP Simple Cart plug in and when I select add to cart from my shopping page I get the following error:Notice: map_meta_cap was called incorrectly. The post type wpsc_cart_orders is not registered, so it may not be reliable to check the capability “edit_post” against a post of that type. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 4.4.0.) in /home/hwlitsum/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5311
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, I tried your link above but there is no shopping cart in the link. Do you still need help with your issue?
Also what PHP version is running in your server? Is your site running the latest WordPress version? Are your plugins and theme up to date?
Thank you
Hi,
Unfortunately I had to pull it down as it cannot sit with an error on the screen.
It is back on there now.
I have password protected the page.Password: Helpm3!Pl3ase
PHP version: 7.3.6
Wordpress Version : 5.6
Plugins and theme are up to date according to the dashboardThank you
Hi,
I see the following errors using Developer Tools in Google Chrome.
undefined:1 GET https://www.hwlitsum.ca/swag/undefined 404
favicon.ico:1 GET https://www.hwlitsum.ca/favicon.ico 404
undefined:1 GET https://www.hwlitsum.ca/swag/undefined 404Please check your settings in the plugin. Also what shortcodes are you using?
Thank you
Hi,
Im Sorry – I am just getting really confused with this.I have fixed the 404 error on the SWAG page (I think) not sure about the favicon – but not my greatest worry right now – I can play with that one.
Which plugin settings should I be checking – there is nothing glaring.
The shortcodes I am using are;
[wp_cart_button name=”Hoodie” price=”50.00″ var1=”Size|M|L|XL|XXL”]
[wp_cart_button name=”T-Shirt” price=”25.00″ var1=”Size|S|M|L|XL|XXL” var2=”Color |Black|Purple|Green|Grey”]
[always_show_wp_shopping_cart]
Thanks again.
KHi, please carry out a plugin/theme conflict test. This will prove to you if there is an issue with your plugins or theme.
Let me know how you go.
Thank you
