Thanks for reaching out @wayneakinney. If you’d like to share the following, we can hopefully determine more on this and ensure you can use Site Kit as expected:
1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
2. Does this occur on the Site Kit dashboard, the main WordPress dashboard (via the Site Kit widget) or on the front end of your site when using the Site Kit admin toolbar? If the errors differ between these areas, please share the different errors.
You may also wish to share a recording of where you’re seeing this error, with your browser console window open so we can view any console errors. You can use a service such as Loom or Zight to share a screen recording, while using the same form previously used to share this privately.

Many thanks for sharing the additional information @wayneakinney. Based on the screenshot you provided, this seems to occur on the Site Kit widget on the main WordPress dashboard only. Is this correct? If this only started to occur since updating to Site Kit 1.149.1, please follow the steps below, which can help indicated a conflict with a third party plugin, theme or custom functions or snippets:
1. Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
5. Check for the same error once more.
If the issue doesn’t arise while in troubleshooting mode, you can enabled your other plugins while remaining in troubleshooting mode, one by one, checking the Site Kit dashboard and widget on the main WordPress dashboard after each time. At the point whereby the issue re-appears, you’ll know which plugin if any is applicable. You can also switch themes while in troubleshooting mode, again checking does the same occur.

If the issue remains while in troubleshooting mode following the steps above, to help rule out any local blocks and try to pinpoint a hosting related block, can you confirm no issues with Site Kit setup and active from this disposable WordPress site?
