• Post the elementor Pro upgrade all my margin and padding settings stopped working for (1) Special heading and (2) after and before images. My site looks pretty ugly with headings and texts being buried under images. I have submitted couple of tickets but no response yet. Kindly suggest.

    Hi, sorry for the inconvenience,

Please read our troubleshooting for this version: https://docs.elementor.com/article/677-faq-for-elementor-3-0

You can always rollback to the previous version:

Hi, Thanks for the quick response!
I tried everything mentioned in the article, even tried downgrading to the previous version but my margin and paddings seems to have been lost for good. The margin for the special headings and images is not working even after downgrading to the previous version of Elementor.

    Please help!

    Thanks

I’m trying to figure out what does not look good on your page, if you can share with us a screenshot of the specific element you see that has a change, I would love to take a look.

Anyway I see you are using a Siteground cache plugin try to clear the cache and see if it works.

Hi, I don’t see a way to attach screenshots here, so will try and point out couple of instances – (1) Destination Page if you see at the bottom of the page – Bucket List Experiences, the part of the title is buried under the photo. (2) Yosemite Guide just look at the second heading – Best Way To Explore Yosemite National Park, part of the heading is being covered by the photo below it. This is happening for all my posts. All my padding and margin settings are gone.

I tried purging site ground cache several times but nothing works. Kindly suggest.

It seems that there is a change in the default settings of “Widget Space” (under settings > style or per column) try to save these settings again or deactivate the Siteground cache plugin for a while, so I can investigate the issue.

Another option: We recently saw a number of add-ons for Elementor that are not compatible with the new version, I’m afraid you have one of them that could be causing this problem.

Sorry, I don’t see the Widget Space Setting under the setting panel. Did you mean individual widget setting?

I SG Optimizer plugin and not the Siteground cache plugin. I have turned SG Optimizer plugin, please let me know what you find.

Also, I tried deactivating all plugins one by one to see if that fixes but I was not able to find any issues.

    Kindly help.

Sorry for the typos, was typing from my mobile device –

I meant I don’t use Siteground cache plugin, I have the SG Optimizer plugin. I have deactivated it, please let me know what you find.

Please open the Elementor Editor go to > Hamburger Menu (top left corner) > Site Settings > Widget Space > remove the value in the control

Let me know if this solve the problem

Hi, This problem again resurfaced today after the Elementor pro upgrade yesterday evening. My padding has disappeared and I check Settings > Widget Space > remove the value in the control, there is no value in the Widget Space.

    Please advise.

I’m running into the same issue with a theme I just downloaded that uses Elementor. Seems none of the Site Settings are saving when changed (background color, content width, widgets space). Sad to see customer support neglecting this issue for nearly 2 months since any theme using their product is practically useless.

Any update on this? I’m facing a similar issue. My website doesn’t display changes made to margin or padding or even the inclusion of a spacer between elements. In the Elementor Editor it all appears fine. But when I click ‘Update’ and then go check out the published page, none of the space-based changes show.

    So…you guys fixing this or…?
