Thanks for reaching out. To complete a lesson or a course for a student, you do not need to remove them in the “Student Management” area.
To mark a course or lesson as complete, all you need to do is re-add the student to the course and while re-adding them, select the option to mark the course or lesson as complete for them.

Thank you very much for your reply. Isn’t it possible to select the students together and mark all the chosen ones as completed in a single click?
Having to manually add them again and clicking Complete Course for this student is not an efficient method for managing a large number of students.
Currently, we don’t have any actions to complete the course within Student Management.

Hello again, now this section has changed and there is no option to add a student with the course completed as you had told me in the forum.

Thanks for reporting this, I checked and was able to replicate the issue with Sensei LMS v4.4.
I have reported it to our developers here https://github.com/Automattic/sensei/issues/5099
As a temporary workaround for this issue, you can downgrade the plugin to v4.3 in which the option to make a course complete for a student is present.
