Sorry for my late reply. I think it is possible to so and in a not so far away update i’m planing on adding this feature.
Just updated the plugin and the new button is visible.
When I press it, all forum posts get marked as read as expected.
But as soon as I enter any forum and come back one level up, all posts are marked as unread again.
Looks like the “mark all as read” is not saved.

My issue: I have no button for “mask all as read” with the last version, do you plan to add it ? Or it’s a bug ?
The button is already part of the plugin and it should also be visible.
It might be that you have a customisation or another Theme for BBPress.
Yes I have a custom theme, currently I use bbPress Pencil Unread because I really need the unread button. It’s ok with native theme, but I don’t know why I can’t see Unread button with my theme… (my website: http://w40kgames.com/forums/jeux-videos/dawn-of-war/galaxy-in-fire/)
