Marker Map creation without inserting into post

    I am using Comprehensive Google Map Plugin on a 3.5 WP site. We are “marking” Locations of building projects around the US. Each Project has its own post page. I also have a page dedicated to a mashup map. I want to be able to create the marker on the post page, but not insert the map into that particular post, just show up on the Mashup map. Im sure I could hide it with some code or a WP shortcode, but I am trying to make it user friendly for the client going forward.
    How can I create a marker without inserting a map?
