    Hello,

    Firstly, thanks again for the great plugin and also your continued support – much appreciated!

    This is probably an elementary question. I want to format the text in my quotes better. Ideally, I’d also like the text JUSTIFIED, if possible.

    However, I would like to know if there’s a way to add punctuation like the hyphen. Currently, in some places I have a ‘–‘ as a substitute for the ‘—’. If you could remind me of the text format that is used (some kind of markup), and perhaps where to find a list of instructions for that markup, that’d be appreciated.

    Sorry to bother you with this elementary question, but I haven’t touched the plugin, or the .TXT files I used to create the quotes, in over a couple of years.

    Thank you! I am glad the plugin is working well for your needs.

    The text justification depends on how your text is setup as there are multiple methods. If in a div tag like

    <div>Text here</div>

    One may edit:

    <div style="text-align: right; width: 100%;">Text here</div>

    Of course it is hard for me to say exactly as I do not know your theme code. This can be the over general theme or the individual section theme.

    As for the dashes the plugin supports HTML and CSS. This again, of course, depends on tastes and design desires.

    Is one HTML unicode dash but there are many.

    Thanks for the rapid response.

    I’m actually using Elementor, and so basically copy the shortcode into the Elementor page, and control the box size (partly) by means of the Elementor page design features.

    I haven’t changed the HTML used in the default much, so the THEME LAYOUT, or BOX the quote appears in is currently:

    Basically, I think, somewhere in the above there should probably be a way to JUSTIFY the text.

    A single quote is formatted like so:

    [Manna - January 1]<br><br><i>O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of His praise to be heard: which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.</i> Psalm 66:8,9<br><br>THANKS be to God that His grace has preserved us, "kept us from falling," through another year:--that so many of us are still of one heart and of one mind in respect to His Word and its service! When we remember that the Adversary is to be permitted to bring "strong delusions" upon the Lord's people for the very purpose of sifting out all not truly His (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12), it should surely call forth our thanks to God that the opening of another year finds us still standing fast,--appreciating the Truth, and in full accord with all the divine appointments by which He has kept us from falling.     So, in one of these, I suspect the THEME LAYOUT, should somewhere include the JUSTIFIED tag (or whatever).

    You can also see, in the above quote, the following ‘through another year:–‘ (the use of double dash ‘–‘ instead of a single, longer hyphen ‘—’. Perhaps that’s as simple as inserting it in the quote using the ALT code: 0151 …

    At any rate, I’d appreciate any further tips.

    Sorry again, I realise this is elementary for most, but I’m not too familiar with all this (thus why I have to use tools such as Elementor).
