• Hello.
We manage +90 licence and most of all projects getting slower from week to week.

We running all projects on kinsta server with a lot of power, static cache and objectcache.
    32 Cores and 64GB Memory.

But finally WordFence adding to much data to database.

    DB tables

    wp_wffilemods
    wp_wfknownfilelist

This tables getting so large on hightraffic websites. We try to limit the log rows in the settings, but we still have 200mb sizes per table.
Second problem: Why we have to empty this table every some weeks please? All good developed plugins have a native integrated job/function that will do that if you enable it.

But in wordfence some people asking for it for example here and nobody reply:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/wp_wffilemods-and-wp_wfknownfilelist-dont-empty/

Our ticket system is now full of issues with wordfence. Before we was using another solution in 90 domains and had maybe 5 tickets per month. Now we have many more per week.

    Please improve:
    Plugin base
    Table performance
    Support speed

Please help us in this case to handle our problem with large tables every new week.

    BR
    Tommy

    Hello.

Why you do not reply? We purchased so many WordFence licence…
But when we start using for a project the free edition we stuck in most simple questions without any feedback.

    Hi @tommy83,

If you do purchase Wordfence licenses and need support for the free plugin here I wouldn’t necessarily connect the dots between accounts. This topic was genuinely missed when posted in between taking leave and it just came to my attention, so I sincerely apologize for the delay.

One thing to check would be making sure that your scans are completing. Tables can grow if scans don’t complete correctly as some are automatically truncated as part of that operation. Have you also tried running normal (or limited) scans to see if either of those help with the tables?

If that doesn’t make a difference, please send a diagnostic to wftest @ wordfence . com so we can take a look into the table sizes and configuration/platform the site and database are running on. Use the link at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it. You can start a new topic to indicate that you’ve sent the diagnostic if you like to ensure it’s refreshed up the list and we’ll resume in there.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Many thanks,
    Peter.
