Hello magneticmoon.
I am happy to assist you with this today.
It sounds like you don’t have a unique SKU for each variation. Amazon requires every child variation, and every single simple product to be a unique SKU.
Kind regards,
John
The main product has an SKU similar to 123. (Amazon shows it as 123-101.) Variations are 123-100, 123-101, etc. Do I have to enter the ASIN for the master product as well? Other items matched without having to do this.
Sorry, mistake above. Variations have four digits after the hyphen.
Hello magneticmoon.
If you are matching each variation to Amazon, the parent SKU does not matter in Woocommerce because each variation’s SKU will match to the listing on Amazon.
The parent SKU only matters when you are listing the entire variable listing to Amazon as a new listing in Amazon’s catalog.
Kind regards,
John
Ok, that’s good to know. Now how do I solve the real issue?
Hello magneticmoon.
You need to make sure that every single SKU you have listed on Amazon is unique. Say the listing that is throwing this error has an SKU of “ABC”, does any other listing in your Amazon account have an SKU of “ABC”?
If not, please submit a ticket here: https://www.wplab.com/request-support/
With the following information:
1.) Dashboard URL
2.) Admin Login/Password
3.) SKU to examine
Kind regards,
John
Thanks. Will do that. Thank you for the quick responses.
