    Hello everyone!

I am very new to WordPress and I am thinking about purchasing Quiz Maker, but before I do it, I would like to find out is it possible to use it for what I need.

For example, I want to make a math test, which consists of 4 topics: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division.
Each of the topics has 3 questions (chosen randomly from the questions library). At the end of the test, I want not only a full report but a report which also shows how good the kid did in each of the topics.
For example, the student did all the Addition questions correctly, he did one mistake in the Subtraction topic, also he did 2 mistakes in the Multiplication part and did 3 mistakes in the Division part.
I want the report to show, that the student did 5 mistakes out of 12 questions PLUS I want to give the parents an idea of what topic the student has to improve.

    Something like this:
Addition – Excellent, your kid has mastered this topic
Subtraction – 1 mistake (or 66% correct answers): you have to practice this skill with your kid.
Multiplication – 2 mistakes (or 33% correct answers): your kid has just a rough idea of how to multiply, you have to pay close attention to practicing this skill
Division – 3 mistakes (or 0% correct answers): the student has no idea what it is.

So, depending on how each topic of the test was answered, every parent gets a report exactly for their kid.

Is this possible to do with the Quiz Maker? Or should I use something else?

    Thank you.

    Hi @kuznetsovamarina79,

    Thank you for the topic.

First of all, thank you very much for your interest in our plugin.

You can make a quiz and create four categories for it: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division. Then you can add 3 questions to each category.

In order for the questions to appear in random order, you can go to the Quizzes > particular quiz > Settings tab and tick the Enable question bank option. Then, you need to choose By Category for the Enable Question Bank option.

    See the screenshot: https://ibb.co/TLvYMfS

By this, random questions from the particular categories will be displayed on the Front-end.

In case you want the categories to be displayed in random order as well, you can tick the Enable randomize questions option as well.

Regarding the second part, besides the Display Score option (which you can set by By correct answers count 5/12), you can also display all the right and wrong answers via the Show question results on the results page option.

Depending on the score the user got for the quiz, you can display your preferred texts via the Intervals option of our plugin (Quizzes > particular quiz > Results Settings tab).
However, at the moment, the plugin doesn’t have the functionality to display these texts for each category simultaneously.

By the way, you can also send these texts to their parents via email. Here, you can also display correctly and incorrectly answered questions via the table.

    Hi, Jasmine (@hyenokian),

Thank you very much for your step-by-step answer.

The only thing I did not get clear. Can you help me with it?

“Depending on the score the user got for the quiz, you can display your preferred texts via the Intervals option of our plugin (Quizzes > particular quiz > Results Settings tab).

If I am sending results via e-mail, can I organize results in 1 document (which is critical for me)? Or is it going to be several e-mails with results (which would not work for me)?

    Thank you very much,

    Hi @kuznetsovamarina79,

    Thank you for your reply.

First of all, I would like to mention, that customer satisfaction is the highest priority for us and we do our best to provide our customers with detailed answers and explanations.

Regarding the Intervals option, if you have set the method of calculation as, for instance, By Percentage, the text which you write for each keyword will be displayed on the Results page depending on the score.

For instance, if the user has answered incorrectly to the questions of A keyword two times, and to the questions of D keyword 1 time, the corresponding result will be displayed after the quiz by percentage and not by category.

Besides this, you can send the results of the particular user to his/her parents via email, in case the user has filled in his/her email in the Information Form.
