Matomo Cloud Cannot Connect (again)

    Hey,

    I saw this problem posted with older WP-Matomo versions, but not yet with 1.0.22. Also the solutions of the older questions didn’t work here 🙁

    When trying to connect to Matomo Cloud I get
    “WP-Matomo 1.0.22 was not able to connect to Matomo using your configuration. Check the »Connect to Matomo« section below.”
    and determined site is n/a.

    I am sure that my matomo-mode, token and subdomain are correct and when doing a test run I get bool(false) without an additional error. I guess it’s because of some server settings, however I didn’t change the default settings, when setting up matomo cloud.

    Do you have an idea, why it doesn’t work?

    – Beside bool(false), do you get a response code in the header information delivered by the test script?
    – Did you check your server logfiles if you assume a server configuration issue? Maybe there you get a hint.

    Otherwise, did you try to request one of the REST calls with your browser? Do you get results this way?
