Max Mega Menu slows site down considerably

    Hi,
    Working on a new site and added Max Mega Menu. At first it seems to work fine but now it slows the site down considerably.

    The dynamic generated CSS file wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=megamenu_css&ver=1.3.2 takes 6 seconds or more to load.
    Although it says “Dynamic CSS generated in 0.7002 seconds”

    Any ideas what could cause this?

    Hi,
    Let this rest for now, I think there is an issue with the webserver. The server is responding slow and perhaps that causes this.

    Hi,

    Old thread (sorry for the bump edwin) but I just found this on Google, so for the benefit of future googlers:

    In the Max Mega Menu settings, set the “CSS Ouput” setting to “Save to filesystem”.

    This is much faster than dynamically loading the CSS and will likely be made the default setting in v1.8.
