Max points is just the maximum number of points one can collect. It’s not something that you set up, it’s automatically calculated.
What do I do then, if it doesn’t “collect” that value? In my results, I want to show the percentage scored – score/max points, but it just show nothing [not zero, nothing] for max points.

You need to add points to the possible answers, otherwise of course it will be zero.
I did that. Each answer has a point value, and if I go back and check, the points show correctly. however, I get nothing where max points should show, and because of that, all results are wrong.
Could this be a conflict with another plugin? I do have Wishlist Member active. Could a membership plugin, somehow mess up your max point code?

It’s impossible to answer this without access to your system, sorry. Points calculation works fine for me and apparently for everyone else.
I want to upgrade to the Pro version, but I would like to know if there will be a problem first. I will try the standard debug first – deactivating all other plugins. If I find a conflict, I will ask your advice. If not, then, ????

Contact me by email and provide me login. There is no way I could guess what is going on without seeing it.
Hi prasunsen:
How do I privately send you the login information?
I am going to upgrade to the PRO version now, hoping that will solve the problem. But if you say others are not having this problem, then it is probably an issue of conflicting plugins, and I may have the same issue with the PRO version.
Regards,
George

Our email details are accessible from the pro site (free users also can email me in cases like this).
But as you already upgraded to pro, let’s move to private communication (already answered your emails).
prasunsen, I have just about everything worked out. took about 45 minutes from start until I am mostly satisfied.
I might comment; I started with WP-PRO-Quiz about a month ago. I posted numerous requests for help on their forum, but the developer never once responded to anything [I donated to him, and he ignored that]. Others using the plugin tried to help, but they could not provide the answers that were plaguing me. I came across WATU this morning, tried it out, then bought the PRO version, and now a month long nightmare is finished.
I really want to thank you guys for creating a good product and supporting it very well [ that is every bit as important as the product itself]. I feel sorry for those others still struggling with an unsupported, weak product.
