MAX upload size

I am trying to install a plugin that is over 2MB.

I get an error message that I can only go upload up to 2MB.

I’ve searched the message boards and forums. I tried uploading through FTP but my access was denied. (I have access to the FTP but can’t upload to it with a Code 550 message)

The other option was something to do with a php.ini or an info.php

I have no clue where these files are located in wordpress. I’ve tried looking in the editor, but no success.
