solution (to this problem at least):
edit:
/wp-admin/import/opml.php

from:
name=”MAX_FILE_SIZE” value=”30000″

to:
name=”MAX_FILE_SIZE” value=”100000″

now I have a new problem:
it says: “Inserted 0 links into category 2. All done!” but: I have 23 posts that do not show up!
