    Hello,

I get this error on my debug.log file.

[05-Mar-2020 20:57:53 UTC] PHP Warning: mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1203): User “database name” already has more than ‘max_user_connections’ active connections in /homepages/36/d781335180/htdocs/foldername/foldername/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1633

I get at least one per hour and sometimes up to 4 per hour every single day. I desactivated the plugin and stopped getting errors. I re-activated the plugin and started to get the error again.

    Any idea ?

    Thanks

    Hello @mach887

I hope you are doing well!

Your hosting allows limited connection to the MySQL. It also could be related that there is no free space on your server.

Is the same error showing up when only the Defender plugin active? Please have only the Defender active and see if this issue will be back. If all is well, start activating one plugin at a time till this issue will be back. It could be a conflict between the plugins.

Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase max_user_connections and have a look at these errors.

    Have a good day!

    Cheers,
    Nastia
