MaxButton not displaying correctly

    My buttons in question are located 3/4 of the way down the page.

    I just created 2 buttons, both previews look fine. When I inserted the short code for each on the same page, the first button, [maxbutton id=”1″], shows up as a blue line. When I hover over it, the white button and blue text show up but not the entire box. it should read “Get to Know Tom”

    This button is identical in set up to the button below it that DOES work “Get to Know Carol” How do I fix this?

    Hi Pam,

    It looks like you are using a caching plugin. Try to flush the cache after adding or changing buttons. It looks like the style of the ‘Tom Button’ is missing.

    Also if you want to buttons with same design but different text / link it’s easier to use the shortcode than copy the button like so :

    [maxbutton id=1 text=”Meet Pam” url=”https://example”%5D

    I purged all caches. No change. I tried the short code and that didn’t work. I deleted the button and created a new one. No change. Any other suggestions?

    Hi,

    I checked your website’s source and it looks quite bizarre. Perhaps this is a combination of the caching plugin and some other plugin. It seems that the footer where the styling usually goes is not working too well.

    What you can try is to add the style tag to the shortcode like this:

    [maxbuttons id=4 style=”inline”]

    That should output the styling of the button next to the button itself. Don’t forget to renew the cache.

    Hi Bas,

    Sigh. No, that didn’t work either. 🙁 This is so bizarre. Theoretically, Carol’s button should be having the same problem but it’s not.

    Any other ideas?
