I received a notification from the security plugin on my website that MaxButtons 9.8.3 has an XSS vulnerability.

What are your plans for patching this vulnerability?

Sadly the patchstack team decided to release a report of which the underlying reason was fixed weeks ago. We are looking how to resolve it.

We had a discussion with the security team and just released a new version ( 9.8.4 ) which should drop soon.
