MEC Import from XML

    Greetings 🙂
    I’m investigating the possibility of switching from The Events Calender to MEC. I need some assistance with importing an XML. I select the file and it imports the file – then tells me the import was successful. But no actual events are imported and frankly, I don’t know how an XML import will work without some mapping steps to go through first. What am I missing here? I cannot find any documentation on this.

    Thanks for contacting us,

    Importing to MEC is directly related to your WordPress. Meaning that your WP configurations will affect it.
    Using the following link, you can set a suitable configuration for your WordPress. After that please try again and import.

    Also, you need to make sure that the file you want to import has a compatible content. therefore, please make sure you Export the correct format.

    This will possible by importing it as an XML file, and all of it will need to be done using the following path.
    WordPRess Dashboard > M.E. Calendar > Import/Export > Import

    @webnus I still need a sample XML file that I can base my XML on in order to import events.

    As soon as you activate MEC, you can access the list of the events, and you can export your events, also about a link, sorry about that, the link is: https://webnus.net/dox/modern-events-calendar/import-and-export-events/
