    Hallo Jürgen,
    I find out that if you use a single page (homepage) where the daily quotes with media appear, the media caption also becomes text. Without media, everything is fine; you only see the text.
    It’s not possible to add a weblink because the website is in maintenance mode.
    I hope my explanation is helpful, and I’d love it if you could fix this because I think it’s a great plugin. It does exactly what I need.

    Hi cueyelink, 🙂

    Ok, I’ve uploaded a new version 1.2.7. Can you give me a reply if it’s working for you now?

    If you want to style the caption differently than the rest of the quote text, you have to add, in the Block Editors Sidebar Easy Quotes Block -> Advanced -> ADDITIONAL CSS CLASS(ES) something like: easy-quotes-img-caption (as class)

    And then add some custom css, (possible in the template editor or customizer), like:

    .easy-quotes-img-caption .wp-caption-text {
    font-family: initial;
    font-size: initial;
    }

    Just an example. You can add there any font that is installed.

    Hope it’s working

    Jürgen
