• After migrating my site from one server to another, my media library doesn’t show any of my uploaded images.

I checked on my FTP server and they are definitely up there. I’m thinking it has to be a broken link in my database or something? Anyone have any idea on how to deal with this?

I have featured images attached to posts as well, they aren’t showing up on my new server either. I think the two issues are one and the same.

  • You might check out the Add From Server Plugin here https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/add-from-server/ to properly bring over your images to the new server.

I’ve tried this plugin.. I’m getting a strange error. It says

This plugin requires WordPress 4.0 or greater, and PHP 5.4 or greater. You are currently running WordPress 4.5.3 and PHP 5.3.3. Please contact your website host or server administrator for more information. The plugin has been deactivated

    Soooo thats strange right?

From what this message says, I’d say your WordPress version is fine, but your PHP version needs to be updated. I’d try out the plugin again after you’ve done that.

Thanks! Yeah, I should have paid more attention to that.. That’s what I’m doing.
