• I have recently moved my wife’s wordpress site. I say moved, I in fact removed it and then re-installed it.
    Example:
    Site was located at http://www.katiefinger.com/blog
I backed everything up and deleted her whole account from my reseller account. Recreated it. Then retrieved my backup, so her site is now located at http://www.katiefinger.com

All is now working (had some database password issues, however that us now solved).
When I look in the Media Library every single image is a small thumbnail with a red cross in it. If I look at the path of the media file it is listed in the following format:

    http://katiefinger.com/home/katiecom/public_html/wp-content/uploads/

Which is of course correct…I’ve checked the path and it exists. However if I click on “View” or “Edit” in the library the image is constantly shown as a box with a red-cross in it.

When I looked through her site I found numerous psosts that had images associated with were failing to display. When I edited the post I found the path to the image still included /blog, so it was a simple matter of removing that.

Is there any way I can rebuild the media library? Or manually make sure that the library can see the image – either via database or even simply being able to “edit” an image in the library and choose an option similar to “browse to file location”.

I can create any screen grabs if that will help at all.

    Cheers.
