Media Library ISsues
-
We have a client that has a WP 4.0 site, using the SLowave theme. For some reason their employees (in montana and oregon) are unable to view the media library and screen options from within the Dashboard. It displays a blank screen.
I have had no issues, Bluehost has had no issues and the Slowave developers have had no issues. We have deactivated plugins and it does not do any good. We have also updated everything, still nothing.
Here is an error log found:
I don’t know if this is any help:

1) did you try with twenty-fourteen (this will tell if it is a theme issue)
2) are they using the same OS/Browser versions?
3) are you doing EXACTLY what they are doing (you might want to screen share with them to see what they are doing)Hello,
I am using Worpress 4.0 and when I click the Media Library tab, it’s just blank.
As in, it shows no media available on the website.
But all the images on the website are still secure!
Anyone with suggestions ?
Please, this is urgent!
@rahulsivakumar – you should open your own thread.
Yes I have tried to duplicate the issue. We performed a screen share and it sure is blank. I am not sure what to do. The client is of course blaming me that it is like this.
We disabled all plugins, selected the WP standard themes and it still displayed the same issues.
2) are they using the same OS/Browser versions as you?
We have made sure all browsers are up to date. We are both using FireFox and Chrome.
I have no issues viewing it, neither did the theme developer or BlueHost. The clients are the only ones with issues.
Then it has to be something to do with their computer – anything from an old OS release to security software to a network issue (assuming the people in the two states are on the same company network) to a virus/malware issue.
Have you asked them to try it on their home computer
The two are on completely separate networks. So no coloration there.
I’d still have them try it on someone elses computer outside of their regular environment.
Another thing, did anyone try running it with the firebug extension in firefox?
I’d expically try the ‘net’ option.
or try looking at the page source to see if anything is there
