Media Library Problem
-
Hi
For some reason my media items are all in a folder
/files/2012 I thought this was a confusing URL so I went to Dashboard > Settings > Media and saw that it was set to files/2012 — Under that was a link to revert to WordPress default, wp-content/uploads/ — I though Ok — I’ll try that it probably wont work, but I can always revert. It did not work, and the images do not show up on the website. And the media is not visible in the Library. And the box where I though I could revert the process is gone in settings.
The files in the library are blank — but have a wp-content/uploads/ in their url.
With some testing I see that images with a url such as
{img src=http//psyberspace.walterlogeman.com/files/2012/> will work.
However most of mine are something like this:
{a href=”http://psyberspace.walterlogeman.com/files/2012/Personal-Development-Weekend-image3.png”>{img src=”http://psyberspace.walterlogeman.com/files/2012/Personal-Development-Weekend-image3.png” alt=”” width=”958″ height=”953″ />
These show up in the visual editor but on once posted on the site.
If I remove the class and size
{a href=”http://psyberspace.walterlogeman.com/files/2012/Personal-Development-Weekend-image3.png”>{img src=”http://psyberspace.walterlogeman.com/files/2012/Personal-Development-Weekend-image3.png” alt=”” width=”958″ height=”953″ />
They work again.
Also the Custom image in my heading has stopped working – Has a different URL altogether:
https://i0.wp.com/psyberspace.walterlogeman.com/wp-content/uploads/logo-custom.png?fit=143%2C59
*
I’m happy to revert everything to files/2012 or maybe sort by date?
Help appreciated.
Walter
