Thanks for the positive MLA feedback and for your question. I must confess that I haven’t used Elementor and only have access to the free version. I hope you understand that I cannot afford to purchase premium themes and plugins simply to support my own free plugin.
MLA registers the Att. Categories and Att. Tags taxonomies for the “attachments” post type (Media Library items). WordPress registers its Categories and Tags taxonomies for the post post type. MLA allows you to add support for Categories and Tags taxonomies in the Taxonomy Support section of the Settings/Media Library Assistant General tab.
MLA’s shortcodes work fine in Elementor Posts and Pages. You can display a filtered gallery of Media Library items by adding the shortcodes to your post/page content.

You wrote “It’s an option in Filter“. Do you mean the Taxonomy Filter Widget? If that’s true it may also be available in the Loop Grid Query menu.
If you are working with a Loop Grid, have a look at the Query menu. Access the Source dropdown and see if something like “Attachments” is available. If so, pick that. Then access the include tab and Include By Term. See if MLA’s taxonomy terms show up when you enter the term name.
The above is just a guess, since I can’t try it on my system. If you’re using the Pro version, you might try the Elementor support team for help. If they can’t help you, I can ask them for a courtesy copy of the Pro version so I can investigate further.
