Hi Christopher, thanks for reaching out!
In retrospect I agree “MediaCreeper Stats” would’ve been a better choice (“for WordPress” is not allowed per the guidelines). Unfortunately it’s not possible to rename a plugin after it’s been published.
The same goes for ww.wp.xz.cn profiles; it’s neither possible to rename nor delete a ww.wp.xz.cn profile once it’s been created (sorry, otherwise I’d be happy to rename).
FWIW, there are multiple links back to the MediaCreeper.com site in the plugin interface, the description/readme aswell as the FAQ. So really, I don’t believe this plugin is “infringing” in any way on your (non-trademarked) service. I will however attempt to make it more clear that the plugin is not an official MediaCreeper.com project in a future update.
While this probably isn’t the answer you were looking for, please let me assure you the plugin was written with the best intentions, all in good faith. I also believe its existence as a WordPress plugin will be beneficial to your service (after all, that’s what public APIs are for, right? 🙂
I’m going to make this topic as resolved as there’s not much more I can do about the situation. If you’re not happy with the answer or feel like you want to discuss this further, feel free to drop me an email.
wbr, Martin.
