Hi there, I’m hoping you would be able to help me troubleshoot an issue with the Mega Menu widget on our client’s site. We were notified yesterday that the mega menu was not displaying in the site header at all (it should be displaying to the right of the Robert Thomas Dancenter logo). While inspecting the page, we can see that there seems to be an elementor container there for it, but the content within is not displaying. We have tried numerous troubleshooting steps (listed below). The only way we can get the menu to display is when we switch to the default Twenty Twenty-Five WP Theme. Of course that breaks the functionality of the mega menu and the rest of the site, but it will at least show up.

    Troubleshooting Steps taken:
    – Plugin Conflict Checking (menu does not work with only Elementor, Elementor Pro and Premium Addons for Elementor enabled)
    – Disabled WP Rocket Caching, cleared cache, updated JS exclusions (wp-content/plugins/premium-addons-for-elementor/assets/frontend/min-js/premium-nav-menu.min.js and /premium-addons-for-elementor/assets/frontend/)
    – Cleared PA Generated Assets, Disabled this setting as well
    – Tried disabling and re-enabling the mega menu setting under Appearances > Menu in the menu items
    – Tried building a new mega menu from Scratch and applied a brand new header
    – Regenerated Elementor CSS and files
    – Rolled back Elementor and PA versions

Any help you could provide us, would be much appreciated. Thank you.

P.S. I should also mention, we’ve enabled a regular WP Menu for now to at least restore some navigation functionality to the site.

  • Hi Wes,

Thank you for contacting Leap13 Support,

After investigating your site, I’ve found a JS error/conflict with one of your menu links –Belly Dancinghttps://rtdance.com/additional-classes/#belly/”. So please remove the last ‘/’ from the link and your menu should be working properly.

On the other hand, this issue will be fixed in our next release.

    Thanks
