• Handy for quick backups on small sites. However, in a somewhat bigger site (I had to restore a 7GB archive) it is quite a hassle to restore. In a migration plugin the restore operation should be flawless i.m.o. :that’s the whole point of having a backup, right? Well… Flawless it’s clearly not. Migrating from ftp or cloud requires an expensive add on (while there are a lot of free migration plugins), even manually uploading the archive to the server in the right place had me showing the archive properly, but upon restore I still had to pay for an add-on. I ended up restoring the backup with the ‘import procedure’ where the archive had to be uploaded via web-upload… A 7GB web-upload… :-S Needless to say that was not to smooth… It took about 5 attempts before a restore operation was successful..

However, in the end it succeeded, that’s why I rated it ‘half way decent’.
