My member directory loads fine when I’m logged in, but when logged out, it says “We are sorry. We cannot find any users who match your search criteria.”

I need my directory to be visible to the public / visitors who are not logged in.

The only other plugin I have active is Elementor and Elementor Pro. I did try disabling these just to test and still the issues persisted. I also tried to change themes and still, the issue persisted.

How is your User Privacy settings at UM Settings -> General -> Account?

Hello @rkanka21

Check the checkboxes of the roles you want to display in the member directory in the “User Roles to Display” setting and update the directory settings.

After that, check the display of users on the member directory page.

Screenshots showing your suggestions above – neither worked unfortunately. Same error message. Cleared cache and everything.

Enable the Privacy tab and set the Users not to hide from directory.
Disable the Privacy tab again.

Hide profiles from the directory by default: If you enable the above option, this setting becomes available, allowing users to hide their profiles from the member directory on their account page. Users with the administrator role can see hidden profiles in any case.

Only Users with approved account status are displayed for non-Admins in the Directory.

@missveronicatv your last message was very helpful! While all of my users did show as approved, I manually put everyone as ‘pending review’ in bulk, then I approved them. and now they are showing up! thank you!
